Register

This is how schools register their MUNA student delegation. One delegation from each school. Additional delegations need to be approved by in consultation with MUNA committee to ensure there’s representation from as many different schools as possible.

Step 1

Pick your team!

Build a team of two fellow Year 10 or 11 students from your school. Together, you will become a Delegation, representing a UN country at the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA).

Step 2

Find a Sponsor or Self-fund.

The cost is $250 per team of two, covering all operating expenses.

Sponsorship:

Most teams receive sponsorship from their local Rotary Club, but self-funding is also an option. Need help finding a Rotary Club? Click here for a list of potential sponsors or contact Di Harrison at hello@muna9815.org.au for assistance.

Payment:

An invoice with payment details will be sent after registration. Rotary Clubs in District 9815 have been notified about MUNA 2024 and are ready to support your team!

Step 3

Register Online

Get ready to make your mark on the world stage! The online registration form for MUNA 2024 will be available on Monday, 20 May 2024 at 9:00 am sharp.

Attention Teachers:

A supervising teacher must complete the registration form on behalf of the student delegation. Be sure to have the following information ready:

  • Names of both students in the delegation

  • Contact details for students and supervising teacher

  • School name and (if applicable) sponsoring Rotary Club

  • Consent from both the school and parents/guardians

  • Dietary needs and medical conditions (if any)

This year, there is capacity for 24 delegations in the venue:

(Auditorium, Lyndale Secondary College).

Initially, one delegation (team of two students) will be accepted from each school. Supervising teachers are strongly encouraged to have a ‘back-up’ team. A ‘wait list’ will be maintained. Please contact hello@muna9815.org.au if you wish to have a team placed on a wait list.

If you need a bit more time to organise a delegation, contact hello@muna9815.org.au. Delegations who register late will be assigned a country as per list kept from the randomised draw.

FOR ROTARY CLUBS

Assembly Registrations:
The online Registration through Jotform.com has two (2) registration options:

1. Student Delegate Registration

IMPORTANT!! This form is to be completed and signed by the supervising teacher for each delegation. The supervising teacher must have the express permission of the school, student delegates and their parents/guardians to complete this registration.

2. Supervising Teacher/Adult Registration

This registration ensures that both school and Rotary Club are kept informed. Parents, Rotarians and teachers who are planning to ATTEND MUNA should also complete this form.

TEACHER / ADULT REGISTRATION

IMPORTANT: Once you have registered you will receive an email confirmation email. Check your email Junk Mail filter and/or your email provider isn't blocking Jotform.com.

Ensure that you have all the details and signed permission forms for both students so the registration can be completed.

MEDICAL

If you or your students suffer from an allergy or a medical condition and have a written action plan, please bring a copy and hand it in at the registration desk. Trained medical personnel will be present during MUNA. (note: you will detail any medical conditions when you register).

Register Online

Standard registrations for MUNA 2024 closed on Thursday, 13 June 2024, but online registrations have reopened for last-minute changes. This form will close on Friday, 16 August at 4:00 pm AEST. Please note that submission of this form does not guarantee registration. Confirmation will be sent from the MUNA President's email address and/or via direct phone contact.
